Our hospital guest house is a safe, supportive and affordable lodging program for patients of all ages, families and caregivers. Our supportive environment encourages rest, recovery and respite while patients receive medical care far from home.

Referral
Our team receives the patient’s lodging referral from a St. Louis area medical facility or physician’s office.

Intake
Our team will verify eligibility criteria, complete the SEEQ assessment on all adult guests, and confirm lodging availability.

Reservation
We will reach out to the reservation contact to complete pre-registration and answer any questions you may have about your stay.
Referral forms must be submitted by a social worker or the patient’s physician’s office. Referrals completed by patients or their families will not be accepted. All guests staying at HavenHouse St. Louis, including patients, family members, and caregivers, are subject to the
Safe Environment Eligibility Qualification (SEEQ) Guidelines.

Can I submit my own referral?
- No. Referrals need to come from a medical professional familiar with your care, such as your doctor, social worker, or care coordinator.
What time can I check-in?
- Check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. daily. Staff are here 24/7 for late arrivals.
Can I submit my own referral?
- Yes. Visitors must be approved in advance and meet our Safe Environment Eligibility Qualifications. Anyone not approved—including previously banned individuals—cannot visit. Visitors must follow guest policies and may not use guest-only amenities.
